A. Information You Provide

• Account Information: If you register via Email, we collect your name and email address. If you register via Google Sign-In, we collect your public profile information (name, email, and avatar) authorized by you.
• User Content: We collect the content you create, such as posts, comments, and duas.
• Reports: Information you provide when reporting objectionable content or other users.

B. Information Automatically Collected

• Device Identifiers: When you use our "Guest Login" feature, we collect a unique device identifier (UUID) to maintain your session and preferences without requiring personal registration.
• Usage Data: We use tools like Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous data about how you use the app (e.g., buttons clicked, screens visited) to improve performance.
• Security Data: We use Google Firebase App Check to protect our backend services from abuse.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data for the following purposes:

• To facilitate account creation and authentication (including Guest and Google Login).
• To display your posts and comments to the community.
• To enforce our Terms of Use and moderate content (e.g., handling reports and bans).
• To analyze app performance and fix bugs.

3. Anonymity and Transparency

Our app offers an "Anonymous Post" feature. While other users will not see your name attached to these posts, please note that we (the app administrators) retain the ability to link anonymous posts to your account or device ID for moderation purposes and to prevent abuse.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data and user-generated content for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we retain your data for a grace period of 30 days to allow for recovery or audit purposes, after which it is permanently deleted from our servers.

5. Third-Party Services

We may share data with trusted third-party service providers to help us operate our app:

• Google Firebase: For authentication, analytics, and infrastructure.
• Google Sign-In: For authentication services.

6. Your Rights and Choices

• Account Deletion (In-App): You may delete your account directly within the app settings. No password is required for social/guest accounts to initiate deletion.
• Web-Based Deletion Request: If you have uninstalled the app and wish to delete your account and data, please email us at contact@duarequests.app with your request. We will process your deletion within 7 days.
• Content Removal: You can delete your own posts and comments at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
